        "content": "<p>PDI-P to elect new leader for Central Java<\/p>\n<p>SEMARANG: The Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI<br>\nPerjuangan) will elect a new chairman of the party&apos;s Central Java<br>\nchapter later this month, to replace the departing Mardijo.<\/p>\n<p>Mardijo was dismissed last month by PDI Perjuangan chairwoman<br>\nMegawati Soekarnoputri for defying her order to support the<br>\nrenomination of Central Java Governor Mardianto. Mardijo insisted<br>\non running himself, though he was defeated.<\/p>\n<p>Mardijo&apos;s former post is being temporarily filled by Gunawan<br>\nWirosarojo, who was appointed to the post by the PDI Perjuangan&apos;s<br>\ncentral board.<\/p>\n<p>Several names have been floated as possible candidates for the<br>\npost, including Bambang Pranoto, Willem Tutuarina and Agus<br>\nCondro.
