PDI-P Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto\nviews the proposal as aligned with the importance of political education\nwithin the party structure. \u201cYes, it is aligned. Even my dissertation\nhas revealed the importance of political education and cadre development\nas part of the strategic function in party institutionalisation,\u201d Hasto\nsaid when met at the PDI-P Party School in South Jakarta on Saturday\n(18\/4\/2026). \u201cTherefore, the KPK\u2019s proposal must be elaborated because\npolitical education is a primary function of the party that must be\ncarried out as the party\u2019s responsibility in recruitment and preparing\ncandidates for leadership in all strategic aspects of national and state\nlife,\u201d Hasto added.
