        "content": "<p>PDI-P plans to sue Cirebon mayor<\/p>\n<p>CIREBON, West Java: The faction of the Indonesian Democratic<br>\nParty of Struggle (PDI Perjuangan) at the Cirebon legislature<br>\nplans to sue Cirebon Mayor Suriaatmadja for alleged<br>\nirregularities in several development projects in the city in the<br>\npast year.<\/p>\n<p>\"After learning of the mayor's accountability speech, our<br>\nfaction found irregularities in several development projects<br>\ncausing a huge amount in material losses to the state,\" Suryana,<br>\na member of the faction said here on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Surya declined to elaborate on the irregularities.<\/p>\n<p>The planned lawsuit might be connected to the faction's<br>\nfailure to win other party's support to turn down the mayor's<br>\n2001-2002 accountability speech which was recently accepted by<br>\nthe city legislature.<\/p>\n<p>A reliable source in the faction said the mayor inserted a<br>\nfictitious road project worth Rp 100 million in his speech, \"but<br>\nwe could not find the project when we made a tour to the field<br>\nrecently.\" --JP<\/p>",
