Some of these facilities are being<br>\nused by vendors as a location for selling their merchandise. The<br>\npedestrians are deprived of their rights to use the facilities<br>\nwith ease. Especially during the rainy season when bus stops are<br>\nthe best shelter for pedestrians waiting for their respective<br>\nbuses. Unfortunately part of the limited spaces are being<br>\noccupied by vendors.<\/p>\n<p>Pedestrians are forced to walk on the road and risk being<br>\ngrazed by passing vehicles. I do not mean that sidewalk vendors<br>\nshould be abolished altogether, as they are convenient and<br>\nprovide food and drinks at reasonable prices. They also help the<br>\ngovernment in partly solving the problem of unemployment.
