The Deputy Regent of Pasuruan, Shobih Asrori (Gus Shobih), has\nofficially opened the 2026 Pasuruan Regency Job Fair at Taman Candra\nWilwatikta, Pandaan District. The event was organised to commemorate the\n1097th anniversary of the Pasuruan Regency.<\/p>\n
Held on Wednesday (23\/9), the event carried the theme \u2018Realising a\nWork-Ready Pasuruan Through Industrial Link and Match in Pasuruan\nRegency: Pasuruan Rises, Together We Can\u2019. In his speech, Gus Shobih\nemphasised the importance of collaboration between the government, the\nindustrial sector, and the education sector to meet the demand for\ncompetent labour.<\/p>\n
\u201cThrough the industrial link and match concept, the labour needs of\ncompanies are directly matched with the competencies of job seekers and\nvocational education graduates,\u201d he stated in a written statement on\nTuesday (29\/9\/2026).<\/p>\n
He likened the event to a \u2018buffet\u2019, as companies can directly review\nand select job seekers who meet their specific requirements.<\/p>\n
\u201cA work-ready Pasuruan means job seekers are prepared with their\ncompetencies, industry is ready to provide employment opportunities, and\nthe government is ready to act as the connector and facilitator,\u201d he\nasserted.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, he reminded all parties of the importance of cooperation\nfor regional progress.<\/p>\n
\u201cAs stated by the Regent, the development of Pasuruan cannot be\nachieved by the Pasuruan Regency Government alone, but also through the\ninvolvement of companies and the entire community within the Pasuruan\nRegency,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
He explained that the organisation of this Job Fair is expected to be\nmore than just a meeting place for companies and job seekers; it aims to\nbuild a comprehensive employment ecosystem, ranging from mapping\nindustrial needs to preparing relevant competencies.<\/p>\n
