        "content": "<p>Trends in passenger and aircraft movements at Juanda International\nAirport in Sidoarjo Regency recorded positive growth during the 2026\nLebaran Transport Post period.<\/p>\n<p>Based on recap data from 13 to 28 March 2026, the number of\npassengers reached 713,318 people. This figure rose by 5.2 percent\ncompared to the same period the previous year, which was 678,262\npassengers.<\/p>\n<p>This increase was also accompanied by a rise in flight frequency. A\ntotal of 4,719 aircraft movements were served, or an 8.8 percent growth\ncompared to 2025, which recorded 4,334 movements.<\/p>\n<p>On daily observations as of 28 March 2026, activity at Juanda Airport\nshowed high intensity with a total of 313 aircraft movements. On that\nday, the number of passengers passing through reached 51,506 people.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis growth reflects the high mobility of the community during this\nyear\u2019s Lebaran homecoming,\u201d said General Manager of Juanda International\nAirport M Tohir, on Sunday (29\/3).<\/p>\n<p>Based on destination distribution data, Jakarta remains the main\ndestination for air transport users from Surabaya.
