        "content": "<p>TANGERANG, KOMPAS.com \u2014 Passenger Muslim (31) recounted the moments\nwhen the Duri-Tangerang Commuter Line suddenly halted mid-journey on\nTuesday (26 May 2026) afternoon. Muslim said the train stopped abruptly\nwithout prior warning. \u201cThere was no explosion or short circuit. The\ncommuter train suddenly stopped, and the lights and air conditioning\nwent off,\u201d he told KOMPAS.com on Tuesday. The situation caused some\npassengers to disembark due to the dark and stuffy conditions inside the\ncarriages. \u201cSome passengers got off out of panic,\u201d he added. The faulty\ntrain was later evacuated by being pushed by another train from behind\ntowards Bojong Indah Station. Muslim explained that the affected consist\ncomprised 10 carriages, pushed by another 10-carriage train, totalling\n20 carriages. After being stranded for a considerable time, the train\neventually arrived at Bojong Indah Station around 7:00 PM WIB. It is\nknown that the Duri-Tangerang Commuter Line service was disrupted and\nsuddenly stopped between Duri and Rawabuaya stations on Tuesday at 5:05\nPM WIB. KAI Commuter Public Relations Manager Leza Arlan stated the\nincident was caused by a facility malfunction on train number 1978A\noperating on the Duri-Tangerang route between Duri and Rawabuaya\nstations. \u201cUpon receiving the report, relevant personnel immediately\ncoordinated and handled the situation on-site to ensure travel safety\nand expedite the restoration of normal Commuter Line operations,\u201d Leza\nsaid in a written statement on Tuesday. The overhead power supply (LAA)\nwas temporarily shut down, rendering the Duri-Rawabuaya section\ntemporarily unusable. However, efforts were made to restore the LAA,\nwhich resumed operation at 5:56 PM WIB.<\/p>",
