        "content": "<p>PAS to remain opposition party<\/p>\n<p>KUALA LUMPUR (Reuter): The fundamentalist Moslem party<br>\ncontrolling Malaysia's only opposition-run state said yesterday<br>\nit could not work together politically with the dominant UMNO<br>\nparty since the groups had different goals.<\/p>\n<p>Kelantan state's Chief Minister, Nik Aziz Nik Mat, said UMNO<br>\n(United Malays National Organization) focused on nationalism<br>\nwhile his Parti Islam se-Malaysia (PAS) strove to uphold Islamic<br>\nprinciples, the national Bernama news agency reported.<\/p>\n<p>\"If UMNO wants to accept Islamic policies, then there will be<br>\nno problems between us.
