        "content": "<p>Part-time job program<\/p>\n<p>A total of 12,893 high school students yesterday started a<br>\nprogram to work as part-time employees during the holiday -- an<br>\nactivity coordinated by the Jakarta chapter of the Education and<br>\nCulture Ministry.<\/p>\n<p>The students are assigned to 20 government offices and 14<br>\nprivate companies from Oct. 24 to 29. There are four programs<br>\noffered: entrepreneurship, public presentation, social activities<br>\nand those hired as employees.<\/p>\n<p>According to Kusnan Ismukanto, head of the office, most of the<br>\nstudents are interested in the entrepreneurship program because<br>\nthey feel their knowledge can be used in real jobs.<\/p>\n<p>Kusnan also said that the number of companies participating in<br>\nthis year's program is 34.5 percent lower than last year because<br>\nof the abbreviated holiday.
