A few days ago several newspapers published the complaint of
\nBapak Hasjrul Harahap, over the service of the Parahiyangan
\ntrain.<\/p>\n
With regard to the complaint we would like to clarify as
\nfollows.<\/p>\n
As soon as we knew about your complaint we instructed the
\nDirector of Operation of the Railway Company to investigate the
\ncase. The investigation's result showed that it was true that
\nBapak Hasjrul's family booked four executive tickets to be used
\nin the second executive coach.<\/p>\n
However, on that day (March 19, 1995) the train, which was
\nscheduled to have two executive coaches, could take the first
\ncoach only, because the second coach was not good enough for the
\njourney as a result of overuse during the Idul Fitri holiday.<\/p>\n
As a consequence, the situation became chaotic, and some
\npassengers had to be moved to the business class. The official in
\ncharge had apologized to the affected executive class passengers,
\nincluding a member of Bapak Hasjrul Harahap's family, for this
\ninconvenience, and arrangements were made to refund the tickets.<\/p>\n
Again we would like to apologize to Bapak Hasjrul Harahap and
\nhis family for the mishap. We would also like assure you that the
\ncompany will always try to do its best to give the best possible
\nservices to the community.<\/p>\n
