        "content": "<p>ParagonCorp\u2019s commitment to building a culture of usefulness through\nactive employee involvement has earned regional recognition. Its\nParagonian Bergerak programme won a Gold Award in the Excellence in ESG\n&amp; CSR Initiatives category.<\/p>\n<p>The award was presented at The Economic Times Human Capital Awards\n(ETHCA) Southeast Asia 2026 on 24 July 2026 at One Farrer Hotel,\nSingapore. It was given for practices judged successful in connecting\nsocial contribution with human resource development.<\/p>\n<p>This approach encourages employees to become key actors in creating a\npositive impact on society. The event was contested by hundreds of\norganisations from five Southeast Asian countries: Indonesia, Singapore,\nMalaysia, Thailand and the Philippines.<\/p>\n<p>The selection process was rigorous, involving document evaluation and\nassessment by a Grand Jury composed of Chief Human Resources Officers\n(CHROs) and independent business leaders from across Southeast Asia.<\/p>\n<p>The Paragonian Bergerak programme ran from August to December 2025\nand involved more than 14,000 employees. Its reach spanned 45\noperational locations, from head office and factories to 43 branch\noffices from Aceh to Ternate. All employees were given equal opportunity\nto take part in various social activities.<\/p>\n<p>A total of 151 initiatives were carried out under the Paragonian\nBergerak programme throughout 2025. These initiatives included education\non stunting prevention, assistance for Micro, Small and Medium\nEnterprises (MSMEs), and coastal ecosystem rehabilitation through\nmangrove planting.<\/p>\n<p>This experiential learning approach brought company values such as\nCollaboration, Ownership and Integrity into daily practice. The\nexperience of leading cross-functional social projects became part of a\nlearning process that strengthened employees\u2019 character.<\/p>\n<p>Astri Wahyuni, Director of Corporate Affairs at ParagonCorp,\nexplained that usefulness is something every Paragonian should\nexperience.
