        "content": "<p>Yohanes Walilo, assistant for government and public welfare at the\nPapua Regional Secretariat, said the dashboard will support faster, more\naccurate and data-driven decision-making in implementing the nationwide\nprogram.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe MBG program is a national strategic initiative that not only\nimproves children\u2019s nutrition but also invests in a healthier, more\nresilient and competitive future generation,\u201d Walilo said.<\/p>\n<p>He said Papua\u2019s mountainous, coastal, island and remote regions\nrequire adaptive and collaborative approaches to meal distribution.<\/p>\n<p>Walilo said the program\u2019s success depends on coordination among all\nstakeholders.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe program covers nutrition, food safety, hygiene, sanitation,\ndistribution, waste management and ensuring every child receives the\nintended benefits,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The dashboard tracks Nutrition Fulfillment Service Units (SPPGs), or\nMBG kitchens, beneficiaries, school coverage, hygiene, sanitation, waste\nmanagement and operational challenges.<\/p>\n<p>Walilo urged government agencies, working groups and the MBG task\nforce to update the system regularly with accurate and reliable\ndata.<\/p>\n<p>He said the information would strengthen monitoring and provide a\nsound basis for evaluating and improving services for Papuan\nchildren.<\/p>\n<p>UNICEF Papua Chief Aminuddin Mohammad Ramdan said the dashboard\ncompiles key data, including beneficiaries, participating schools, SPPG\noperations and incidents such as suspected food poisoning.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe dashboard enables local governments to monitor the program in\nreal time, respond more quickly to problems and make data-driven policy\ndecisions,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Besides developing the system, UNICEF is providing technical\nassistance to strengthen human resources and improve operations at 14\nNational Nutrition Agency (BGN)-managed SPPGs.<\/p>\n<p>He expressed hope that the dashboard would eventually cover all areas\nof Papua Province, improving the program\u2019s effectiveness, accountability\nand impact.<\/p>\n<p>Related news: Indonesian VP pushes MBG expansion in remote areas<\/p>\n<p>Related news: Gibran, students visit regions to monitor MBG\nprogram<\/p>\n<p>Translator: Qadri Pratiwi, Raka Adji<\/p>",
