Jakarta (ANTARA) - PAM Jaya is collaborating with the DKI Jakarta\nProvincial Family Welfare Empowerment Movement (PKK) team to distribute\nhundreds of free water tanks to residents of the UKA Complex, RT 16 RW\n08, Tugu Utara Ward, Koja Subdistrict, to maintain the availability of\nclean water.<\/p>\n
\u201cKoja\u2019s pressure is still at 0.3, and the pipe network in several\nlocations still needs repairs,\u201d said PAM Jaya\u2019s President Director Arief\nNasrudin in Jakarta on Monday.<\/p>\n
He stated that the free water tank distribution is being carried out\nalongside infrastructure improvement processes.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are providing tanks to ensure that the community\u2019s water needs\nremain met,\u201d Arief said.<\/p>\n
Currently, he added, 320 tanks have been distributed in North\nJakarta, and a total of 620 including West Jakarta.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe will also increase the allocation from the original 2,000 to\n3,000 tanks to further assist the community,\u201d Arief stated.<\/p>\n
The tank distribution is targeted to be completed by June 2026, with\nphased weekly deliveries.<\/p>\n
Arief reminded residents to keep the tanks clean and use them\nproperly.<\/p>\n
According to him, the tanks can help residents store water reserves\nduring high usage or temporary supply disruptions.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe average 300-litre capacity tanks are provided as a clean water\nstorage solution for PAM Jaya customers in areas with low water\npressure,\u201d Arief said.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, resident of RT 16 RW 08, Tugu Utara Ward, Purwati,\nadmitted to having used PAM water for a long time but had not owned a\ntank because they are quite expensive.<\/p>\n
