        "content": "<p>The Nutrition Fulfilment Coordination Team (KPPG) in Palu has\nconfirmed that the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) programme in Sigi Regency\nwill continue to operate during Ramadan, with provisions for light meals\nfree from ultra-processed food (UPF).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn principle, the MBG programme will continue with provisions for\nlight meals that are free from ultra-processed food,\u201d said Yudhi when\ncontacted in Sigi on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>He explained that the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) has already\nissued guidelines for the implementation of the Free Nutritious Meals\nprogramme during Ramadan.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe guidelines provide a reference for all Nutrition Fulfilment\nService Units (SPPG) across Indonesia regarding MBG distribution during\nRamadan,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Yudhi noted that for SPPG locations where the majority of students\nare non-Muslim and not observing the fast, normal MBG programme\nactivities may proceed through coordination with the respective schools.\nMeanwhile, Muslim students will still receive Ramadan MBG packages.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMBG distribution during Ramadan follows the effective school days as\ndetermined by the regional government,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, the Ramadan MBG packages consist of light foods\nthat are safe, practical and long-lasting whilst still meeting balanced\nnutrition standards.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Ramadan MBG packages will be distributed on effective school\ndays, namely from 23 February to 14 March 2026,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Yudhi provided examples of the MBG packages during Ramadan: the first\ncontains bread, chicken eggs, milk, dates and oranges. The second\npackage comprises bread, instant nutritious cereal drink, dates, chicken\neggs and oranges. The third package includes mung bean porridge, chicken\neggs, dates and milk. A further Ramadan MBG package contains wheat\nextract drink, milk, dates and quail eggs. The packages are distributed\nusing tote bags.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, there are 16 SPPG units in Sigi Regency, spread across the\nsub-districts of Sigi Biromaru, Nokilalaki, Kulawi, Gumbasa, Dolo Barat,\nDolo, Kinovaro and Marawola.<\/p>",
