"summary": "Pakistan has carried out airstrikes in Afghanistan\u2019s Khost, Kunar and Paktika provinces, killing at least 26 people including women and children, according to Afghan officials, while Islamabad claims it targeted militant hideouts. The attacks mark the deadliest violence in weeks and further strain already fraught relations between the Taliban-led Afghan government and Pakistan over cross-border militancy. The renewed hostilities threaten regional stability and continue to disrupt bilateral trade along the largely closed border.",
