        "content": "<p>Padang City (ANTARA) - The Padang City Government in West Sumatra is\nexploring opportunities for cooperation with two universities in\nMalaysia in the field of education. \u201cThere are two educational\ncooperation opportunities that can be followed up with Malaysia,\u201d said\nDeputy Mayor of Padang Maigus Nasir in Padang on Monday. This was stated\nby Deputy Mayor of Padang Maigus Nasir after a working visit to the\nneighbouring country. The former West Sumatra DPRD member said that the\neducational cooperation opportunities are with Universiti Kuala Lumpur\nthrough a scholarship scheme for children who are Quran memorisers. This\nprogramme provides opportunities for hafiz or Quran memorisers to pursue\nvarious study programmes, from medicine and engineering to economics and\nsciences, with the aim of producing outstanding and competitive Muslim\nintellectual generations. The second opportunity is cooperation with\nUniversiti Al-Bukhary, which prepares special educational scholarships\nfor children from underprivileged families. This programme will be\nsynergised with Baznas and supported by data validation through the\ndigital social assistance programme. The implementation and\nsynchronisation of digital social assistance in that programme also\naligns with Padang City\u2019s selection as the only area in the province as\na pilot project for digital social assistance.
