Overdose victim dumped at river<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): A young man died of a drug overdose on Tuesday
\nafternoon, an hour after he was found unconscious near Ciliwung
\nRiver in Menteng subdistrict, Central Jakarta, a witness and a
\ndoctor said.<\/p>\n
Faulana, a resident of Jl. Matraman Dalam, Pegangsaan, Central
\nJakarta, said a man on a motorcycle placed the victim on the
\nground close to his house at 1 p.m. and then rode off. When
\nFaulana approached the man he found he was foaming at the mouth.<\/p>\n
\"I and some friends of mine were playing the guitar in front
\nof my house, when two men on a motorcycle stopped near the river.
\nThe driver then got the other one off the motorcycle and fled,\"
\nFaulana told reporters at the emergency unit of Cipto
\nMangunkusumo General Hospital.<\/p>\n
Faulana said it happened so fast that they could not see the
\nregistration number of the motorcycle clearly.<\/p>\n
\"It was a black motorcycle, but we couldn't tell its brand nor
\nread its number plate.<\/p>\n
\"He was not a resident of this area,\" he added.<\/p>\n
The victim, identified only as Jajat, was in his 20s and
\napproximately 1.7 meter tall, skinny and dark with short curly
\nhair. He was wearing a T-shirt and blue jeans. The body had no
\ndistinguishing marks.<\/p>\n
A doctor at the emergency unit said the victim had probably
\ntaken a large amount of putaw (low-grade heroin). (01)<\/p>",
