The US Embassy in Jakarta confirmed that the exercise, which\nruns from 20 July to 2 August, involves the United States Pacific\nCommand (USPACOM), the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), and\nmilitary personnel from partner nations. \u201cThis exercise underscores the\nstrong US-Indonesia defence partnership and the shared commitment of\nparticipating nations to advancing global peace and security,\u201d the\nembassy stated. Designed as the world\u2019s largest annual international\nfield training exercise for peacekeeping, the drill focuses on aligning\ntactics, techniques, and procedures to boost interoperability and\neffectiveness for UN-mandated peace support operations.
