"summary": "The Task Force for Accelerating Rehabilitation and Reconstruction following the Sumatra disaster has cleared more than 500 mud-affected sites in Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra, restoring normalcy to community activities. As of 6 April, 92% of targeted locations have been addressed, with a focus on hardened mud in historical sites, homes, and drainage systems, building on the full restoration of national road access completed in January. This progress underscores the government's prioritisation of mud clearance as a key step in post-disaster recovery, involving coordinated efforts including IPDN personnel deployments.",

The first phase\nfocused on opening national road access, which has been 100 percent\ncompleted and functionally reopened since 25 January 2026.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, in the second phase, activities will target mud clearance\nfocusing on three types of locations: schools, office areas, and public\nfacilities such as puskesmas, mosques, and others.<\/p>\n
Satgas PRR has also specifically deployed Praja from the Institute of\nDomestic Government (IPDN) to assist with mud clearance in Aceh Tamiang\nRegency.
