By 10:00 WIB, ticket sales for Monday\u2019s (1 June 2026)\ndepartures had exceeded 12,000, with passenger numbers expected to\nsurpass 21,000 by the end of operations. \u201cOccupancy for\nBandung-to-Jakarta journeys since 10:00 WIB until afternoon has exceeded\n70 per cent. Passengers are urged to book Whoosh tickets promptly,\nparticularly through online sales channels,\u201d said KCIC\u2019s General Manager\nfor Corporate Communications, Eva Chairunisa, in a statement on Monday,\n1 June 2026. Eva added that Bandung-to-Jakarta occupancy has continued\nto rise throughout the morning, especially for popular afternoon and\nevening schedules. To accommodate the surge in passenger volume during\nthe return rush, KCIC has added six extra services, increasing daily\nWhoosh trips from 62 to 68.
