Former president Abdurrahman \"Gus Dur\" Wahid has said the
\npower of people cannot defeat the evil power of unscrupulous
\npoliticians or corruptors because the population is so big that
\nit can be fragmented easily.<\/p>\n
Gus Dur's negative and pessimistic tone in facing corruptors
\nis not favorable to the nation's struggle. We should have a
\npositive attitude and keep striving to find strong and clean
\nleaders in the elimination of unscrupulous politicians, who have
\nundermined national development.<\/p>\n
In the past, the nation was united and succeeded in ridding
\nthe country of colonizers who had prevailed for centuries. At
\npresent, some of our fellow countrymen are stealing public money
\nso we must deal with them properly via uncompromising law
\nenforcement.<\/p>\n
Gus Dur, a Muslim scholar, should have talked about how to
