Optimism for new cabinet<\/p>\n

There have been many disgruntled comments on the newly formed
\nNational Unity Cabinet. The critics have expressed their doubts
\nabout the professionalism of the new ministers.<\/p>\n
I believe that President Abdurrahman Wahid's selection of
\nassistants was the best decision although it does not satisfy all
\nsides. I trust that the ministers can carry out their task in
\naccordance with the people's hopes and expectations.<\/p>\n
It is true that President Abdurrahman can be controversial and
\nmysterious in his decisions and measures. Before he was President
\nhe often made statements that led to polemics. But what he
\ncontended was proven true. So people came to respect him.<\/p>\n
The present Cabinet will be successful. People should not be
\nprejudiced against Abdurrahman's decision, which was surely taken
\nafter due consideration. Besides, the Cabinet now is a large
\nimprovement to previous ones. Give the ministers a chance to
\nwork. Should they make a mistake, we are there to remind them
\nabout it.<\/p>\n
