        "content": "<p>Opposition official to go on trial<\/p>\n<p>KUALA LUMPUR (AFP): A Malaysian opposition party official went<br>\non trial Monday for leaking secret reports of Anti-Corruption<br>\nAgency (ACA) investigations into two leading ruling party<br>\nfigures.<\/p>\n<p>Mohamad Ezam Mohamad Noor is accused of possessing &quot;classified<br>\ndocuments pertaining to the ACA investigation&quot; into Minister of<br>\nInternational Trade and Industry Rafidah Aziz and former Malacca<br>\nstate chief minister Rahim Tamby Chik.<\/p>\n<p>Mohamad Ezam is youth chief of the National Justice Party<br>\nfounded by the wife of jailed ex-deputy premier Anwar Ibrahim and<br>\nis also a former aide to Anwar.<\/p>\n<p>He allegedly committed the offense last Nov. 6 at a press<br>\nconference at party headquarters, during which he distributed<br>\ncopies of the documents to reporters. The offense is punishable<br>\nby a minimum of one year&apos;s jail and a maximum of seven.<\/p>",
