Col. Rismawan, head of the police precinct, said on Monday<br>\nthat he was determined to keep security in North Jakarta under<br>\ncontrol during the year's end.<\/p>\n<p>Rismawan was quoted by Antara as saying that the operation is<br>\naimed at reducing the number of crimes, North Jakarta is at<br>\npresent is fourth out of the city's nine police precincts for<br>\ncrime rate.<\/p>\n<p>\"Anyone found carrying sharp weapons during the operation will<br>\nbe questioned,\" he said.<\/p>\n<p>Data shows that there were 169 crimes committed in North<br>\nJakarta last month, of which 88 have already been settled, he<br>\nsaid.<\/p>\n<p>He explained that the highest number of crimes involved<br>\nrobbery with violence and the lowest were sexual crimes and<br>\naltercations.
