Opel cars to be released soon<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): General Motors of the United States will soon
\nrelease its first Indonesian-made Opel cars from its factory in
\nBekasi, West Java.<\/p>\n
Andreas Brauer, the account manager for INTE, one of Opel's
\ntraining agencies, is conducting a series of training sessions as
\npart of the company's program to develop an Indonesian market for
\nOpel products, the company announced here yesterday<\/p>\n
The training is given to Opel-Chevrolet dealers and their
\nsales and after sales teams.<\/p>\n
General Motors is the majority owner of PT General Motors
\nBuana Indonesia, a joint venture formed in September 1993 to
\nmanufacture Opel passenger cars beginning in 1994 and Chevrolet
\nlight commercial vehicles in 1995.<\/p>\n
General Motors is the owner of Germany's Adam Opel AG, the
\nmanufacturer of Opel vehicles. (hen)<\/p>",
