Jakarta \u2013 Commemorating a historic milestone in the national economy,\nIndonesia\u2019s Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs held a\ncommemoration of the first anniversary of the Bullion Indonesia business\nunit alongside the launching of the Indonesia Bullion Ecosystem\nRoadmap.<\/p>\n
The event, themed \u201cConsolidating the First Year, Strengthening the\nNext Phase,\u201d served as a momentum for strengthening the gold ecosystem\nas a liquid financial instrument in Indonesia.<\/p>\n
As a key stakeholder, PT Pegadaian presented itself as the driving\nforce in transforming gold commodities into dynamic financial assets.\nOver the past year, Pegadaian has successfully integrated its Gold\nSavings and Instalment Gold services into the Bullion Bank\ninfrastructure (Gold Banking Service) that is safer, more modern, and\nnationally integrated.<\/p>\n
Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto\nextended special appreciation to Pegadaian and other bullion industry\nplayers for successfully revitalising an integrated gold investment\necosystem. According to him, the strategic steps taken by Pegadaian have\nmade tangible contributions to national economic stability.<\/p>\n
\u201cPegadaian\u2019s efforts over the past year have demonstrated positive\nimpacts on strengthening our economic structure. With mature\ninfrastructure and accurate strategy, Pegadaian has been able to make\ngold a pillar of financial strength for society,\u201d said Airlangga.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, PT Pegadaian Director Damar Latri Setiawan affirmed that\nthis year\u2019s achievement represents a foundation for larger\nexpansion.<\/p>\n
\u201cPegadaian is committed to continuing to fulfil the government\nmandate in optimising national gold potential. Currently Pegadaian has\nthe most comprehensive Gold Banking Service offerings, and we will\ncontinue to endeavour to enhance and develop them in hopes of bringing\nbenefits to society,\u201d stated Damar.<\/p>\n
At the event, the Coordinating Minister also delivered the Bullion\nBusiness Unit roadmap for the coming year. This roadmap is designed to\nintegrate Indonesia\u2019s entire gold economy supply chain, from upstream to\ndownstream, to create maximum added value for the nation.<\/p>\n
With full government backing, Pegadaian is optimistic that\nIndonesia\u2019s bullion business will soon reach the next level. This\nintegration is expected not only to strengthen the national financial\nsector but also to become a cornerstone in supporting the creative\neconomy and broader financial inclusion.<\/p>\n
