Danantara Indonesia marked one year of its institutional journey\nthrough a joint reflection activity held at Wisma Danantara in Jakarta\non Tuesday, 11 March 2026. The event was attended by the President,\nCabinet Ministers, and Danantara leadership and personnel.<\/p>\n
President Prabowo Subianto provided guidance on the importance of\nmaintaining integrity, disciplined governance, and long-term orientation\nin managing state assets to strengthen the foundation of national\neconomic development.<\/p>\n
Prabowo emphasised that Danantara Indonesia was established to ensure\nstate asset management is conducted professionally and oriented towards\nthe nation\u2019s long-term interests. In this manner, it is capable of\ndelivering tangible added value to national development and public\nwelfare.<\/p>\n
Prabowo stated that Indonesia now possesses a state investment\nmanagement institution comparable to sovereign wealth funds at the\nglobal level. Within this first year, Prabowo noted, it is already\nevident that with sound management, disciplined governance, and strong\ncommitment, state asset management performance can increase\nsignificantly.<\/p>\n
\u201cHowever, this achievement is only the beginning. Going forward, we\nmust continue to strengthen governance and improve performance so that\nstate asset management truly delivers maximum benefit to the Indonesian\npeople,\u201d said Prabowo.<\/p>\n
The one-year celebration carried the theme \u201cOne Danantara\u201d,\nreflecting the spirit of state-owned enterprises to move in unified\nsteps in strengthening the foundation of national economy and creating\nwider impact for future generations.<\/p>\n
Rosan Roeslani, CEO of Danantara Indonesia, stated that the first\nyear of Danantara\u2019s journey focused on building strong institutional\nfoundations and governance. He emphasised that the direction of state\ninvestment management remains grounded in creating long-term benefits\nfor society.<\/p>\n
\u201cState asset management must ultimately deliver tangible impact for\nthe nation\u2019s future. Therefore, commitment to future generation\ndevelopment is also an important part of Danantara Indonesia\u2019s journey,\u201d\nsaid Rosan.<\/p>\n
This commitment is reflected not only in strengthening governance and\nstate asset management structures, but also in various initiatives\naffirming that development results must deliver tangible benefits to\nsociety, including young Indonesians.<\/p>\n
Through the milestone of one year, Danantara Indonesia reaffirmed its\ncommitment to continue strengthening governance foundations, improving\nstate asset management quality, and driving strategic investments\ndelivering long-term economic and social impact for Indonesia.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis first year is a foundation-building phase. Going forward, our\nfocus is ensuring these foundations are translated into tangible\nperformance through strong governance, professional state asset\nmanagement, and strategic investments delivering benefit to the national\neconomy and the future of Indonesian generations,\u201d said Rosan.<\/p>\n
School Supply Assistance<\/p>\n
As a symbol of commitment to the nation\u2019s children\u2019s future, a\nsymbolic handover of 88,000 school supply packages for children across\nIndonesia was also conducted on the occasion. This programme was\nimplemented simultaneously by state-owned enterprises in various regions\nas a form of support for educational access and preparation of\nIndonesia\u2019s Golden Generation.<\/p>\n
PT PLN (Persero), which forms part of the Danantara Indonesia\necosystem, supported improved educational access for Indonesian children\nthrough distribution of 5,000 school supply packages to students in West\nKalimantan, Southeast Sulawesi, and South Papua provinces.<\/p>\n
PLN\u2019s President Director, Darmawan Prasodjo, stated that PLN\u2019s\ninvolvement in this programme represents the company\u2019s commitment to\nfostering superior, competitive generations ready to embrace Indonesia\u2019s\nGolden Future.<\/p>\n
