        "content": "<p>Cirebon \u2013 The one-way traffic engineering towards Jakarta was\nofficially implemented on the Cipali Toll Road section on Monday\n(22\/3\/2026) starting at 17:08 WIB. This implementation is part of the\nlocal one-way traffic engineering from KM 263 (Pejagan\u2013Pemalang) to KM\n70 (Jakarta\u2013Cikampek). Prior to this, preparatory steps such as\nsterilising the Jakarta-bound lane and rest areas had been carried out\nsince 14:00 WIB.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe implementation of traffic engineering is situational, following\nthe discretion of the National Traffic Police,\u201d said Ardam Rafif\nTrisilo, Head of Sustainability Management &amp; Corporate\nCommunications at Astra Tol Cipali.<\/p>\n<p>Ardam noted that based on data from today from 00:00 to 17:00 WIB,\ntraffic flow towards Jakarta was observed to have increased\nsignificantly, with conditions being busy but smooth.<\/p>\n<p>Approximately 38,000 vehicles have passed Cikopo towards Jakarta.\nThis number is 101% higher compared to the same period yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>Ardam stated that cumulatively in both directions, the total traffic\nvolume on the Cipali Toll Road section this afternoon was relatively the\nsame as yesterday\u2019s period, namely 2% lower compared to the same period\non the previous day.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe urge all road users to always prioritise safety, maintain a safe\ndistance between vehicles, and comply with instructions from on-site\nofficers during the traffic engineering period,\u201d said Ardam.<\/p>\n<p>Ardam stated that to ensure collective safety, road users are asked\nnot to change lanes and not to use U-turns while the one-way system is\nin effect. Vehicles are also advised not to stop on the roadside, except\nin emergencies.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRoad users are advised to rest at the nearest rest area or utilise\nrest facilities outside the nearest toll gate if parking capacity is\nfull, with the assurance of the same toll fare (accumulated per\nkilometre),\u201d he said.<\/p>",
