One injured in BandarLampung blast<\/p>\n
JAKARTA: An explosion in a house in Indonesia's Lampung
\nprovince on Sumatra island injured one man on Wednesday
\nafternoon, police said.<\/p>\n
The blast in the seaside Kota Karang area about two kilometers
\nfrom the provincial capital Bandar Lampung was caused by
\nexplosives normally used for illegal fishing, said a local police
\nofficer.<\/p>\n
\"Reports from the scene suggested that the blast was an
\naccident but we are still investigating other possible causes of
\nthe incident,\" the officer, who identified himself only as First
\nSergeant Sonny, told AFP by telephone.<\/p>\n
One person who is believed to be the owner of the house was
\ntaken to hospital with severe injuries, said First Sergeant
\nDaruji of the local military precinct.<\/p>\n
Several parts of Indonesia have been hit by a series of blasts
\nover the past three years.<\/p>\n
Indonesians are on edge after a car bomb in the resort island
