The ticketing payment system for entry into the Kintamani tourist\narea along Jalan Raya Penelokan will be revamped starting in July this\nyear. The manual scheme will be replaced with an online-based one gate\nsystem concept.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe target is for trials to be conducted in July 2026 or August\n2026. In October 2026, it could potentially be executed,\u201d said the Head\nof the Bangli Tourism Office, I Wayan Dirga Yusa, to detikBali on\nTuesday (24\/3\/2026).<\/p>\n
Yusa explained that the concept is currently in the process stage.\nThe Bangli Regency Government is exploring cooperation with several\nvendors or online ticketing service companies.<\/p>\n
In addition, infrastructure procurement such as ticket booths, levy\ninformation boards, and uniforms for officers is being prepared.\nRegarding the budget, it will be included in the 2027 budget revision\nplan.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe want a management model that is classic and one gate system.\nHopefully, it will be realised in 2026,\u201d said Yusa.<\/p>\n
Yusa stated that if online ticket purchases are implemented, visitors\ncan directly tour along Jalan Raya Penelokan without having to pay again\nat other locations. Officers will only check the validity of tickets\nalready purchased online.<\/p>\n
However, the ticket is only valid for entry access and selected\ntourist services along Jalan Raya Penelokan. Several tourist attractions\nin the area will still apply their own entry tickets that can be\npurchased directly on site.<\/p>\n
\u201cBecause sometimes tourists are spontaneous. After visiting one\nplace, they then want to visit another tourist spot,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Yusa added that a similar system is planned to be implemented across\nall tourist attractions in Kintamani Subdistrict managed by the Bangli\nRegency Government in 2027.<\/p>\n
Nevertheless, flexibility will still be provided. Tourists can still\npay the levy directly at the tourist site.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere will be flexibility for tourists who want to pay directly at\nthe location. So they can make reservations directly at the tourist\nsite,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Previously, a video circulated on social media showing tourists being\ncharged Rp 25,000 on Jalan Raya Penelokan. Yusa assured that the\ncollection is official from the Bangli Regency Government.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe apologise for any inconvenience. Perhaps some officers missed\ninforming due to heavy vehicle traffic, about the levy that must be\npaid,\u201d said Yusa.<\/p>\n
He mentioned that information boards on ticket rates are actually\ninstalled at five entry points. However, he admitted there are still\nshortcomings in infrastructure such as ticket booths and officer\nuniforms.<\/p>\n
