One dies in stove explosion<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): A boy died and his brother suffered serious burn
\ninjuries on Friday morning when a stove exploded in a house on
\nJl. Kayumanis, in Kramat Jati district, East Jakarta.<\/p>\n
Supario, the victims' uncle, said the incident happened when
\nSuarti, 26, was cooking in the kitchen, which is located seven
\nmeters from the bathroom.<\/p>\n
\"For no specific reason, the stove just exploded and burned
\nthe two children inside the bathroom,\" he told reporters at the
\nemergency unit at Cipto Mangunkusumo General Hospital on
\nSaturday.<\/p>\n
Fathan, 5, and his brother Louten, 3, were severely injured by
\nthe explosion with burns over their entire bodies. They were
\nrushed to Pasar Rebo Hospital in East Jakarta.<\/p>\n
Supario said Louten died at 4 p.m. on Friday, while Fathan was
\ntransferred on Saturday to Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital's (RSCM)
\nemergency unit for further treatment.<\/p>\n
Supario said criticized the treatment administered by Pasar
\nRebo Hospital, saying that nurses at Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital
\nhad to reopen the bandages that covered Fathan to cleanse and
\ntreat the burns before applying fresh bandages. (06)<\/p>",
