One dead, 15 injured in bus accident<\/p>\n
JAKARTA: A Mayasari Bakti bus plying the Kampung Rambutan-
\nTanjung Priok route collided on Sunday morning with a truck
\nbelonging to Indocement on the Ir. Wijoto Wiyono toll road in
\nNorth Jakarta, killing one person and injuring 15 others.<\/p>\n
Enday, 40, an assistant to the bus driver, died en route to
\nthe hospital with severe injuries. Endang Haryadi Nadir, the bus
\ndriver, suffered severe injuries to his head and legs.<\/p>\n
Enday, a resident of Ciracas subdistrict in East Jakarta, was
\ntaken to the Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital.<\/p>\n
The 15 people injured in the accident, all onboard the bus,
\nwere taken to the nearby Cempaka Putih Islamic Hospital.<\/p>\n
Ten of the victims suffered severe injuries, while the other
\nfive were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.<\/p>\n
The victims included Asep Kusnadi, 36; Budi Riyanto; Acin bin
\nSena, 39; Rido, 52; Misgiyo, 30; Maryati, 50; Adin, 35; Sri
\nHandayani, 35; Surahmat, 63; Sri Lestari, 50; Untung, 29;
\nSuhaeri, 37; Suhaeni, 50.<\/p>\n
Eyewitnesses said the crowded bus hit the truck in front of
\nthe Indonesian Business Institute, about 100 meters from the
