Your review of the<br>\npolitical and socioeconomic complications preventing a successful<br>\nextradition from U.S. custody to Indonesia of Hambali is well<br>\ntaken. However, this deliberately ignored Hambali&apos;s right to<br>\nproper due process.<\/p>\n<p>Hambali would receive fairer treatment in Indonesia, under<br>\nIndonesian law, than he could ever receive from a U.S. military<br>\ntribunal and CIA interrogators in Guantanamo Bay or Afghanistan.<br>\nHambali, an Indonesian citizen, has broken no U.S. laws, but he<br>\nis accused of several serious offenses committed in Indonesia. He<br>\nis almost certainly being held under a jurisdiction where he will<br>\nreceive nothing remotely similar to due process.
