The bus companies seem to be<br>\ncompeting with each other to provide some comfort to their<br>\ncustomers by showing laser disc films during the journey.<\/p>\n<p>On May 4, 1995, at about 10.00 a.m. I was returning to Jakarta<br>\nfrom Bandung by Pribumi Raya bus. They showed two films during<br>\nthe journey: T-Force and Tough and deadly. It seemed to me that<br>\nthese films were not censored. Some of the scenes in the films<br>\nwere quite vulgar and contradictory to religious norms,<br>\nespecially when there were children present.<\/p>\n<p>I asked the bus conductor to use the remote control device to<br>\ncontrol the film and leave out the indecent parts.<\/p>\n<p>I hope that the bus companies carefully choose the films to be<br>\nshown so that the entertainment serves its purpose.<\/p>\n<p>IMAM SUHADI<\/p>\n<p>Jakarta<\/p>",
