There have already been four regional\nheads involved in legal problems,\u201d he said after a meeting in Semarang\non Tuesday (28\/7\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>In August, the Ombudsman will deploy teams to assess the quality of\npublic services across all levels of government, from central ministries\ndown to the smallest regional units. The assessment will focus on\ndetecting early signs of maladministration, which the agency identifies\nas the upstream source of corruption. \u201cWe want to remind fellow regional\nheads and service delivery units to avoid the legal problems that have\noccurred in Central Java.
