"summary": "The Indonesian Ombudsman (ORI) has formed an ethics panel to adjudicate the case of its inactive Chairman, Hery Susanto, following his implication in a nickel corruption scandal. Comprising five members selected for their high integrity, the panel aims to ensure an independent, objective, and transparent process in enforcing ethical standards within the institution. This move underscores ORI's commitment to upholding its code of ethics amid the ongoing legal proceedings where Hery faces charges of receiving Rp1.5 billion in bribes related to mining governance issues from 2013 to 2025.",
