Olympus camera<\/p>\n
I was impressed by an advertisement for the Olympus Camera in
\nthe National Geographic magazine. On Aug. 16, 1997, I therefore
\ndecided to buy a new camera (Trip XB3) at a nearby store, Amalia
\nPhoto, on Jl. Raya Pekayon No. 49, Bekasi, West Java.<\/p>\n
In less than one month, I found that the camera's battery
\ncompartment could not be closed properly. On Sept. 9, 1997, I
\nreturned the camera to the store for necessary repair and
\nmaintenance. At the same time, I also submitted a warranty card
\nas the camera is under a one-year warranty. Furthermore, my home
\nphone number was also given to one of the store attendants for
\nany contact she\/he might need.<\/p>\n
The store attendant promised that the camera would be ready in
\nthree weeks. However, I have so far been waiting for six weeks
\nwith no satisfactory explanation from Amalia Photo as to when the
\ncamera will be ready. I have also made a number of phone calls
\nwithout satisfactory answers.<\/p>\n
I therefore raise this issue to draw the attention of Olympus
\nCamera to the quality of their camera. I really regret my choice.
\nBoth the camera and the way the store attendants of Amalia Photo
\nserved their customer were really a complete disappointment.<\/p>\n
