Old faces dominate Governor's Cup<\/p>\n

National players dominated the Jakarta Governor's Cup tennis
\ntournament at the Senayan claycourts here on Friday, with
\nSuwandi, Febi Widhiyanto, Hendri Pramono and Prima Simpati Aji
\nall qualified for the men's singles' semifinals.<\/p>\n
Suwandi will meet defending champion Hendri while Prima takes
\non Febi on Saturday.<\/p>\n
The semifinalists stopped their respective opponents in
\ngenerally easy encounters on Friday.<\/p>\n
Suwandi and Hendri conceded six games each in their run, the
\nformer overcoming Yusmawan Fahmi 6-4, 6-2 and Hendri stopping
\nveteran Bonit Wiryawan 6-2, 6-4.<\/p>\n
Prima trounced Tjahjono 6-0, 6-1 while Febi blanked Sebastian
\nda Costa in the first set before being assured of the semifinal
\nplace without continuing the game as his opponent retired due to
\ninjury, 6-0, 2-0.<\/p>\n
The women's singles semifinals will feature veterans, as Maya
\nRosa is the only junior player left in contention. Three other
\nnames are Wukirasih Sawondari, Eny Sulistiowati and Irawati
\nMoerid.<\/p>\n
Wukirasih crushed Mima Chernovita 6-3, 6-2 and will tackle
\nMaya Rosa, who won over Mudarwati 5-7, 7-6, 6-2.<\/p>\n
Eny defeated Febri Joana 6-3, 6-3 to get a semifinal pairing
\nagainst Irawati, a 7-5, 7-5 over Dian Aggraeni.<\/p>\n
In the men's doubles, Peter Handoyo\/Suwandi defeated Hendri
\nPramono\/Sunu Wahyu Trijati 6-2, 6-4 to meet Febi Widhiyanto\/Nesa
\nArtha in the semifinals. Febi\/Nesa demolished Armendio
\nAnggara\/Jonathan Andam 6-1, 6-1.<\/p>\n
The other semifinal match will pit Eko Kurniawan\/Prima Simpati
\nAji against Januar Radjab\/Surya Wijaya.<\/p>\n
The women's doubles will have its final match on Saturday with
\nMima Chernovita\/Sandy Gumulya taking on Irawati Moerid\/Wukirasih.<\/p>",
