The Ojol driver was discovered by members of Battalion B Satbrimob\nPolda Metro Jaya conducting a joint patrol with the Presisi Pioneer Team\nof East Jakarta Metro Police Residency on Basuki Rachmat Street,\nCipinang Muara, East Jakarta, at around 2:27 am on Friday\n(29\/5\/2026).<\/p>\n
Initially, officers noticed a crowd on the roadside. Upon checking,\nthey found a man lying weakly at the location.<\/p>\n
Patrol teams subsequently called an ambulance to transport the victim\nto the nearest hospital. Afterward, officers resumed patrolling and\nchecked several high-risk areas.<\/p>\n
The joint team patrolled vulnerable spots for riots and street crime\nin the Jatinegara to Pulogadung area. Police also dispersed groups of\npeople loitering late into the night, deemed likely to disrupt public\norder.<\/p>\n
Police Commissioner Henik Maryanto stated that routine patrols are\nbeing intensified to anticipate riots and street criminality, which\noften occur from evening to early morning.<\/p>\n
\u2018The presence of personnel on the ground also serves as rapid\nresponse for communities requiring assistance,\u2019 he said.<\/p>\n
As the patrol concluded, East Jakarta\u2019s area was reported to be safe\nand conducive.
