        "content": "<p>JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The Financial Services Authority (OJK) will\nissue new regulations on Bank Business Plans (RBB) in the third quarter\nof 2026 to encourage the banking sector to channel credit to government\npriority programmes. OJK Commissioner Chair Friderica Widyasari Dewi\nassessed that this policy can be utilised as a business opportunity for\nbanks to increase credit disbursement. \u201cFor example, the people\u2019s\nhousing programme, which can indeed be utilised by banks in channelling\ncredit,\u201d she stated during the KSSK press conference at Menara Radius\nPrawiro, Jakarta, on Thursday (7\/5\/2026). As managers of public\ndeposits, banks must still apply good risk management and governance in\nevery credit disbursement. \u201cThis is not mandatory. Banks still have the\nfreedom to implement their credit disbursement strategies according to\neach bank\u2019s risk appetite and risk tolerance,\u201d she emphasised. To\nencourage the implementation of credit provision to government\nprogrammes to run well, OJK is currently drafting new RBB-related\nregulations. \u201cThe revision of the RBB regulations is planned to be\nissued later by the Head of the Banking Supervisory Executive.
