        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Financial Services Authority (OJK) has imposed\nadministrative sanctions in the form of fines on 233 parties for\nviolations in the capital markets, with a total fine amounting to\nRp96.32 billion as of 31 March 2026.<\/p>\n<p>The Executive Head of Capital Market, Derivatives Finance, and Carbon\nExchange Supervision at OJK, Hasan Fawzi, stated that these sanctions\nare intended to provide legal certainty in Indonesia\u2019s capital\nmarkets.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDuring this year up to 31 March 2026, the total fines reached\nRp96.33 billion imposed on no fewer than 233 parties,\u201d Hasan said during\na press conference at the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) building in\nJakarta on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Hasan continued that the fine amount also includes penalties related\nto stock price manipulation cases amounting to Rp29.3 billion.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe handling of cases directly related to market manipulation\nconditions, which often attract attention from all parties, even reached\nRp29.3 billion,\u201d Hasan revealed.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, regarding the fine categories, the details show Rp62.78\nbillion as case-related fines, while Rp33.55 billion consists of late\npayment fines, non-late payment, and non-case fines.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to imposing fines, as of 31 March 2026, OJK has issued 73\nwritten warnings, four licence suspensions, one licence revocation, two\nspecific actions, and eight written orders\/prohibitions.<\/p>\n<p>On this occasion, Hasan assured that OJK will continue to enforce the\nlaw in Indonesia\u2019s capital markets.<\/p>\n<p>He said that the imposition of sanctions is carried out to increase\ndiscipline among capital market participants in Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis step will be continued, we will persist, we will present it,\nand it will become an important part of our ongoing efforts to bring\nmarket discipline, market integrity, good market conduct, and\nultimately, we hope to restore confidence in our capital markets.\nEspecially from our investors,\u201d Hasan stated.<\/p>",
