        "content": "<p>The Financial Services Authority (OJK) has handled 124 cases through\nspecial examinations in the capital market sector as of 7 August 2026,\nwith 35 cases completed and 89 others still under investigation.<\/p>\n<p>Deputy Commissioner for Issuer Supervision, Securities Transactions,\nSpecial Examinations, Derivative Finance, and Exchanges at OJK, Khoirul\nMuttaqien, said the special examinations largely focused on securities\ntransactions as well as issuers and public companies.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOf these 124 cases, we have completed 35 cases, while 89 other cases\nare still in the process of intensive examination,\u201d said Khoirul at the\nPress Conference for the 49th Anniversary of the Reactivation of the\nIndonesian Capital Market in Jakarta on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Based on OJK\u2019s presentation, 79 cases were related to securities\ntransactions and 27 cases were related to issuers and public companies.\nIn addition, there was one case related to a securities company\nrepresentative.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis law enforcement measure is a tangible manifestation of our\ncommitment to continuously maintain market integrity and to provide\nmaximum protection for investors in the capital market,\u201d said\nKhoirul.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to special examinations, the authority has imposed\nvarious administrative sanctions in the capital market, derivative\nfinance, and carbon exchange sectors as of 7 August 2026, with total\nfines reaching Rp240.5 billion.<\/p>\n<p>The sanctions include three licence revocations, two licence\nsuspensions, 303 written warnings, and six written orders.<\/p>",
