        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Financial Services Authority (OJK) is drafting\na roadmap for the financial technology innovation, digital financial\nassets, and crypto assets (IAKD) sector for the 2026-2031 period to\ndevelop an industry that is visionary, adaptive, and supportive of the\nnational economy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are committed to realising an IAKD ecosystem that is sovereign,\nhas integrity, is adaptive, and affordable to strengthen national\ncompetitiveness, stimulate financial market deepening, and provide\ngreater benefits to society and the national economy,\u201d said OJK Chief\nExecutive for IAKD Supervision Adi Budiarso in a statement on\nThursday.<\/p>\n<p>Adi said the roadmap is based on four main principles as the\nfoundation for developing Indonesia\u2019s IAKD ecosystem. These four\nprinciples are affordability, integrity, agility, and sovereignty.\nVisionary policies are expected to create a visionary market.<\/p>\n<p>On Thursday (2\/7), OJK together with the Indonesian Blockchain\nAssociation (ABI) held a National Symposium and Stakeholder Consultation\nForum on IAKD Development and Strengthening. Through the symposium and\nconsultation forum, OJK, together with regulators, policymakers,\nindustry players, academics, practitioners, and various stakeholders,\ngathered input for the preparation of the OJK IAKD Roadmap 2026-2031.\nThis includes input on the development of asset tokenisation and\nstablecoins, digital financial asset taxation, strengthening\ncybersecurity, over-the-counter (OTC) transactions, and the development\nof a single investor identifier (SID).<\/p>\n<p>Chairman of the OJK Board of Commissioners Friderica Widyasari Dewi\nreminded that rapid technological developments, from artificial\nintelligence to asset tokenisation, open up great opportunities for the\ndevelopment of the financial sector. \u201cOf course, amidst today\u2019s rapid\ntechnological advancements, from artificial intelligence to asset\ntokenisation, we are faced with various challenges to ensure that\ninnovation must continue to grow, but we must always maintain market\nintegrity, consumer and public protection, and of course maintain the\nstability of our financial system,\u201d said Friderica.<\/p>\n<p>Friderica continued that the development of financial technology\ninnovation also presents new challenges that require an adaptive\nregulatory framework, good governance, strong consumer protection, and\nclose collaboration between regulators, industry, academia, the media,\nand all stakeholders. According to her, the refinement of Law Number 4\nof 2023 concerning Financial Sector Development and Strengthening (P2SK)\nthrough Law Number 4 of 2026 demonstrates the state\u2019s commitment to\nensuring the financial sector regulatory framework can keep pace with\ntechnological developments and evolving business model dynamics. This\nrefinement also strengthens governance, consumer protection, market\nintegrity, and collaboration across the entire IAKD ecosystem.<\/p>\n<p>Friderica also emphasised that the development of a secure and\nintegrity-driven digital financial sector is one of OJK\u2019s eight\nstrategic programmes. The programme is directed at supporting financial\nmarket deepening, strengthening national development financing,\ndeveloping MSMEs, promoting a green economy, and enhancing financial\nliteracy, financial inclusion, consumer protection, and integrity\nenforcement in the financial services sector.<\/p>\n<p>In the IAKD sector, OJK noted there are currently eight registered\nalternative credit scoring (PKA) providers and 17 financial aggregation\n(PAJK) providers. The number of PAJK users reached 18.29 million, while\ntotal consumer hits on PKA platforms reached 130.78 million.\nFurthermore, partnerships between financial technology innovation (ITSK)\nproviders and financial services institutions also continue to increase,\nreaching 1,346 partnerships.<\/p>\n<p>In the digital financial assets and crypto assets sector, OJK has\ngranted licences to 26 digital financial asset traders, two digital\nfinancial asset exchanges, two clearing and guarantee institutions, and\ntwo depository managers. According to OJK, the number of digital\nfinancial asset and crypto asset consumers also continues to grow,\nreaching 22.4 million.<\/p>",
