        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Financial Services Authority (OJK) has\napproved the merger of PT Bank Perekonomian Rakyat (BPR) Artha\nMlatiindah into PT Bank Perekonomian Rakyat Artha Mertoyudan, as set\nforth in the Decree of the OJK Board of Commissioners Member\nNo.\u00a0KEP-25\/D.03\/2026 dated 13 March 2026. The decree was delivered to\neach BPR at the OJK Special Region of Yogyakarta Office on 26 March 2026\nand at the OJK Central Java Province Office on 1 April 2026. Head of OJK\nCentral Java Province, Hidayat Prabowo, in a statement received in\nJakarta on Tuesday, stated that the consolidation of BPRs is a strategic\nstep to strengthen institutional resilience and support the enhanced\nrole of BPRs in serving the public and financing productive sectors.\n\u201cThis merger is part of OJK\u2019s efforts to strengthen the BPR industry to\nmake it healthier, more resilient, and capable of facing evolving\nbusiness dynamics,\u201d said Hidayat. Furthermore, this merger is expected\nto strengthen the institutional capacity and performance of PT BPR Artha\nMertoyudan, including expanding service reach, improving operational\nefficiency, and reinforcing good corporate governance practices.
