        "content": "<p>Transport Minister Dudy Purwagandhi has confirmed that regulations\nreducing app commission deductions for online motorcycle taxi (ojol)\ndrivers have been in force since 1 July. The deductions are stipulated\nin Presidential Regulation Number 27 of 2026 concerning the Protection\nof Online Transport Workers, followed by a revision of Minister of\nTransport Decree Number 1001 of 2022. The revision adjusts the maximum\ncommission limit from the previous 20% to a ceiling of 8%. \u2018The\nministerial regulation is complete. It has been in effect since 1 July,\u2019\nDudy said at the Presidential Palace complex on Tuesday (7\/7\/2026). Dudy\nalso acknowledged receiving complaints regarding non-compliance by app\noperators, although discussions with them are ongoing. \u2018We can see there\nhave been changes. The ojol association has not yet submitted anything.\nThere are still differences in interpretation among ojol colleagues on\nhow to calculate it. We ask the app operators to provide more\nexplanation to them,\u2019 Dudy said. This rule applies only to online\nmotorcycle taxi drivers. Online car taxis and courier delivery services\nhave not yet experienced changes in fare deductions. Dudy explained that\nonline taxis are regulated by local governments, while online courier\nservices fall under the Ministry of Communication and Informatics. He\nalso confirmed there are currently no plans to regulate deduction\nreductions for those services. \u2018Not for now. We are focusing on\ntwo-wheelers,\u2019 he said.<\/p>",
