'Ojek' driver robbed, killed<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): An ojek (motorcycle taxi) driver was believed to
\nbe the victim of a robbery after he was found dead Friday morning
\nin Cibitung, Bekasi, police said.<\/p>\n
The victim, Nemon bin Sirin, 54, was found by residents of
\nPasir Limus village, Wangunharja about 6 a.m., First Lt. Heri
\nMuntiarto of Cibitung Police subprecinct said.<\/p>\n
\"A blunt object was apparently used to beat Nemon, but we are
\nstill searching for it.\"<\/p>\n
Nemon, a resident of Tangsi village, Sukadanau, was found on
\nthe side of the road with severe wounds to his forehead and right
\ncheek, Heri said.<\/p>\n
Police believe robbery was the motive behind the fatal attack
\nas the victim's motorcycle was missing from the crime scene.<\/p>\n
\"Initially, residents just thought the victim was a sleeping
\ndrunkard and only realized that he was dead after a resident
\nsmelled a putrid odor oozing from his wounds.\"<\/p>\n
Nemon's body was sent to Cipto Mangunkusumo General Hospital
\nin Central Jakarta for a postmortem examination. (emf)<\/p>",
