In a\nstatement, the authority said monitoring devices, satellite imagery and\nmodern modelling systems were used to track the spread of the oil spill\nand predict potentially affected areas. Specialised teams are taking\nsteps to contain the movement of the pollution, with priority given to\nareas of high environmental sensitivity, the authority added. According\nto media reports, the \u2018Caroline Bezengi\u2019 has been grounded since June\nafter the crew reported an explosion on board.
