        "content": "<p>Nusantara (ANTARA) - A collaboration between the Nusantara Capital\nAuthority (OIKN) and Bogor Agricultural Institute (IPB), involving local\nfarmer groups directly, has successfully yielded a 20-hectare upland\nrice harvest in the Nusantara area, specifically in Muara Jawa, Kutai\nKartanegara Regency.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYesterday, Thursday (9\/4), we held a harvest ceremony together with\nthe farmers and relevant parties, as an expression of gratitude for the\nsuccess of the farmer group in developing 20 hectares of upland rice as\nan initial trial phase for agricultural innovation development,\u201d said\nOIKN Head Basuki Hadimuljono in Nusantara on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Based on the report he received, the production of the developed\nupland rice shows several advantages, including better quality in terms\nof taste\u2014fluffier, more enjoyable, and savoury compared to other rice\nvarieties.<\/p>\n<p>Basuki also appreciated the steps and innovative spirit carried out\nby the farmer group together with various relevant parties in that\nagricultural development.<\/p>\n<p>The joint upland rice harvest at the Conservation Agriculture\nDemonstration Plot of the Mekar Jaya Farmer Group in Muara Jawa, Basuki\ncontinued, marks the initial step in developing an innovative\nagricultural sector in the Nusantara area.<\/p>\n<p>In the trial phase, the IPB 9G variety was developed on 5 hectares of\nland, while local varieties were planted on 15 hectares, totalling 20\nhectares in that demonstration plot.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, OIKN Deputy for Environment and Natural Resources Myrna\nAsnawati Safitri conveyed the results of the harvest activity as part of\nthe evaluation of agricultural demonstration plot development in Muara\nJawa Ulu Village, Muara Jawa Subdistrict, moving forward.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have completed the harvest of the last crop from the joint trial\nresults at the Muara Jawa Demonstration Plot.
