        "content": "<p>Officials summoned on land issue<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA: A number of state officials ranging from ministers to<br>\nmilitary officers will appear before the House of Representatives<br>\n(DPR) to clarify their involvement in a land dispute.<\/p>\n<p>The officials are to appear at the request of the House<br>\nSpecial Committee of inquiry on agrarian matters.<\/p>\n<p>Committee chairman I Nyoman Gunawan said on Thursday that his<br>\nteam would first hear State Minister of State Enterprises<br>\nLaksamana Sukardi, Minister of Finance Boediono and chairman of<br>\nthe Indonesian Bank Restructuring Agency (IBRA) Syafruddin<br>\nTemenggung.<\/p>\n<p>Gunawan of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI<br>\nPerjuangan) said the IBRA chairman was being questioned because<br>\nthe agency manages state assets, including property.<\/p>\n<p>Army Chief of Staff Gen. Ryamizard Ryacudu, Navy Chief of<br>\nStaff Adm. Bernard Kent Sondakh and Air Force Chief of Staff<br>\nMarshal Chappy Hakim are included on the list of military<br>\nofficers summoned, but Gunawan provided no details on the grounds<br>\nfor their summons. -- JP<\/p>",
