In the last few weeks, there has been news about officials who
\nare still operating under the New Order spirit and practices, the
\nabuse of power. In Jakarta, it is said that officials' children
\n\"fill empty school desks\" (enrolled through illegal payments). In
\nBekasi, an official's kid died in a toilet and his death was
\nsuspected as occurring after the use of drugs. There were also
\nsecurity apparatus who unveiled Ebtanas (the final exam) and sold
\nempty school desks.<\/p>\n
Prior to this, we also heard that a military official's child
\nwas to be tried because of his involvement in drug abuse. Another
\nkid was involved in arms problems. Meanwhile, Zarina Mirafsur,
\nthe woman imprisoned over drug abuse, gave birth to a baby during
\nher imprisonment, but the baby's father is unknown. Some presume
\nthis is related to the official's attitude.<\/p>\n
I don't ask the officials and their children in Jakarta and
\nits surroundings to behave beyond the capacity of common people.
\nBut in front of the suffering people, they should give good
\nexamples.<\/p>\n
